The window sticker pictured in the gallery notes that this Dawn cost $418,850 new. Factory equipment includes the Inspired by Music and Driver Assistance 3 packages, a self-leveling air suspension system, a power-operated Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, electronically-regulated coach doors with power closing assistance, a massage function for the front passengers, umbrellas integrated into the door jambs, and a surround-view camera. The selling dealer reports no modifications.
Launched for 2016, the Dawn was developed as a convertible alternative to the Wraith. It offered the luxury that buyers expect from a car with a Spirit of Ecstasy emblem on its front end, a 6.6-liter V12, and an extensive list of personalization options. It was positioned as one of Rolls-Royce’s more affordable models, though that’s highly relative, and it lured a younger set of buyers into showrooms. Sales in the United States ended after the 2021 model year, and Rolls-Royce hasn’t announced a successor yet.
Power comes from a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12, rated at 563 horsepower and 605 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
