Is registration free?
Yes. Creating a Hudson Auto Bids account is free — no registration fees, membership fees, or hidden charges to browse listings, bid, or use Buy Now. You only pay if you win a lot.
What do I need to register and start bidding?
Create an account and complete a quick identity check to confirm you're a real, eligible buyer — a standard step for vehicle sales. Once verified, you can browse listings and take part in auctions.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is currently made by bank wire transfer, with additional options coming soon. Full payment details are provided on your invoice once a sale is confirmed.
When is payment due after winning an auction or Buy Now?
Payment details and timing are included on your invoice after the sale is confirmed. If you need to sort out timing, contact support — we'd rather work with you than cancel a sale.
Are bids and Buy Now offers binding?
Placing a bid or choosing Buy Now is a firm commitment to purchase if your offer is accepted, so review the full listing, photos, and documentation first. If something's genuinely wrong, contact support — and every purchase is backed by our 14-day return.
Can I inspect the vehicle before buying?
Yes. You can inspect a vehicle before bidding — in person or through an independent inspector. Contact us to arrange access. Listings also include photos, a condition report, and documentation if you prefer to review remotely.
How is delivery handled?
After payment clears, delivery is arranged through insured, licensed transport carriers. The first 1,000 miles are free; beyond that, a flat $1 per mile applies, whatever the vehicle's size or type. Every vehicle is fully insured in transit.
How long does delivery take?
Typically up to 14 days within the United States, depending on destination and logistics.
Are vehicles insured during transportation?
Yes. Every vehicle is fully insured throughout transport, from pickup to delivery, through our licensed carriers.
Do vehicles come with a warranty?
Yes. Vehicles include a 6-month / 10,000-mile limited warranty (whichever comes first) from the date you take possession, plus a 14-day reject-or-refund policy on every purchase.
What is not covered under the Limited Warranty?
The limited warranty doesn't cover cosmetic imperfections inside or out, normal wear-and-tear items, recommended maintenance, or aftermarket accessories. Any visible imperfections are disclosed in the listing where available.
Can I return a vehicle if I’m not satisfied?
Yes. You can return a vehicle within 14 days of delivery, with up to 1,000 test miles. Returns aren't accepted if the vehicle has been damaged, modified, altered from its delivered condition, or used as loan collateral. Approved refunds are processed within 48–72 hours, and delivery charges are waived.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Not at this time — purchases are completed in full by bank wire. Additional payment options are on the way.
Why do you verify my identity?
As a dealer, we confirm every buyer's identity to prevent fraud and identity theft and to meet the legal requirements for vehicle sales. Your information is used only for verification and is never sold or shared for marketing.
Are titles and ownership documents included?
Yes. You receive the title when you take delivery — it's handed over with the vehicle, not sent separately afterward. Every lot is sold with a verified title.
Can I cancel a bid or Buy Now after placing it?
Bids and Buy Now offers are final once accepted, so review everything before you commit. That said, every purchase includes a 14-day return window — if the vehicle isn't as described, you're covered.
What happens after I complete payment?
Once payment is verified, we begin coordinating delivery. Transportation is arranged through insured carriers and typically starts within 48–72 hours. You'll be notified when scheduling is confirmed and your vehicle is in transit.
What should I do if I do not receive payment instructions by email?
If your payment instructions haven't arrived within 24 hours of winning or having a Buy Now offer accepted, check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find them, contact support right away so your purchase isn't delayed.
